Psychological Therapy

ADHD Scotland provides professional, evidence-based psychological therapy for individuals, couples and families. Our therapists offer support to adults, young people and children, providing a safe and supportive space to explore challenges, develop coping strategies, and improve emotional wellbeing.

Our team includes Dr Emma Field, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and Alice McCann, a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. Together, they offer a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs.

We support individuals experiencing a wide variety of difficulties, including anxiety, panic, depression, low self-esteem, OCD, perfectionism, trauma and PTSD, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, workplace stress, exam-related anxiety, social anxiety, bullying, and family difficulties.

We also have particular expertise in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autistic traits. Therapy can help individuals better understand their strengths and challenges, manage emotional regulation difficulties, develop practical strategies, address shame and self-criticism, and improve confidence and wellbeing.

Therapy is available both in person and online, allowing clients to access support in a way that best suits their needs.
