Many thanks Emma a diagnosis in my 50s has given validity to my experience and substantially increased my confidence in moving forwards in my life and career. Thankyou A

I contacted Dr Emma Field in January to request an ADHD assessment for my 18 year old daughter. Emma quickly got in touch and talked me through what the assessment would involve. We secured an appointment quickly and met with Emma over two sessions. The assessment process was challenging for my daughter, but made easier by how supportive and empathetic Emma was. My daughter had her report sent out promptly, and was given support and advice on what to do next - including reference to reading materials and suggestions for further professional support. Emma has continued to be a source of support, and I have contacted her a number of times following my daughter’s diagnosis - each time Emma has responded promptly and provided me with help/advice. I am very happy with the service we have received.

We experienced a very caring and comprehensive service from Dr Field while she recently assessed a family member. Dr Field made us instantly at ease upon our arrival at her office. She allowed us to take each session at our own pace and carried out all assessments in a caring and friendly manner. We are very grateful for the great care that was also taken in providing us with a thorough and comprehensive report in a very efficient manner, which gave us the answers that we needed and that we struggled to access through the NHS. Thank you.

I have been seeing Emma in a therapy capacity on and off for four years now. I continue to go back to her, not because my need is constant, but because her presence in my life has been an unwavering and immeasurable force of good. I had tried other therapists before, and always found there to be a degree of discomfort in the sessions. From the outset, this was completely absent with Emma. She is easy and understanding as well as whip-smart and astute. I continue to look forward to her thoughts whenever I encounter difficulty in life. These days, these are often more minor undulations, but when I started seeing Emma I was in the depths of a depression that consumed me. Her help and guidance was a light in a very dark time - one which I am proud to say, with her help, I have left behind. The really great thing about Emma, is that she is very much a real person. She never filters conversations through the therapeutic lens like other practitioners I've tried in the past. There is no pretence with Emma, and you are never left wondering what is going on within the process because she is completely honest with you. This is a breath of fresh-air and a cornerstone of her success as a therapist. I have recommended Emma to two friends. One who is very similar to me, and the other who is quite different. Both feel the same gratitude towards Emma that I have. She has helped them on entirely different journeys to my own: the only commonality being all three of our certainty that Emma has helped. I would implore anyone who is struggling to reach out to Emma. It was a decision that changed my life four years ago, and I know she will do the same for so many more people.

I can highly recommend Emma Field's services after over a year of therapy for OCD as well as having undertaken an ADHD assessment with her a few months ago. She has been kind and personable throughout my time in therapy, providing me with excellent general support as well as guiding me through specific treatments such as ERP therapy for OCD and mindfulness practice. My assessment for ADHD was very rigorous but not at all intimidating, and I was very satisfied with Emma's diagnostic approach.
